1999 – PhD in Philology, speciality 10.02.01 – Ukrainian language. Thesis title: Variability of Case Endings of Nouns in the Modern Ukrainian Literary Language;
2003 – academic title of an associate professor.

1986–1991 – assistant at the Department of Ukrainian Language and Literature;
1991–2000 – Senior Lecturer at the Department of Ukrainian Language;
2000 – Associate Professor at the same department;
2012 – Associate Professor at the Department of Ukrainian Language and Methods of Teaching Specialised Disciplines;
2017–August 2024 – Associate Professor at the Department of Ukrainian Language and Slavic Studies;
September 2024 – Associate Professor at the Department of Ukrainian Language and Journalism.
2001–2006 and 2019–2020 – Dean of the Faculty of Philology at BSPU.

Field of scientific interests

  • Language norms;
  • Dynamics of morphological norms of the modern Ukrainian language;
  • Variation of norms.

Public activity

  • For many years, she has been leading the student research problem group ‘Dynamic Processes in the Lexical and Grammatical Systems of the Modern Ukrainian Language’, which has resulted in the participation of degree-seeking students in international and national conferences, research competitions, etc. and numerous publications of student abstracts and articles. The students were awarded Certificates of Honour for the best scientific reports;
  • Lecturing at teacher training courses (postgraduate pedagogical education, conducting classes with the teachers of Berdiansk and Berdiansk district);
  • Member of the jury of the university stage of the Taras Shevchenko International Literary and Language Competition for Schoolchildren and Students Youth, Petro Yatsyk Ukrainian Language International Competition;
  • 2015 – present – member of the Academic Council at the Faculty of Philology and Social Communications at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University.
